College Group
The Camelback College Group is a place where College students can meet peers who love God and want to go through the college years with God at the forefront. At the CBC College Group, you can expect to find the gospel is proclaimed and expounded on a regular basis through all of the Scriptures and a community that loves and cares for each other. Right now, our college group meets in a home, enjoys dinner together, and hears God’s word taught. We also want to give our College students a connection to the rest of the church, so we have members from the church come and share their life story to hear how the gospel changes lives and how to live as a Christian.

Men's Ministry
The purpose of the Men’s ministry is to prepare Christian men to assume the roles God created them to fulfill. The aim is to equip men to be spiritual leaders in their home, the church and throughout their communities. The ultimate objective is to “present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” (Col 1:28).
MEN’S NIGHT
Camelback’s “Men’s Night” has become synonymous with great fellowship, food, and time shared together in God’s Word. Join us as we dig into God’s word for answers to life’s toughest questions and challenge one another to action.
MEN’S RETREAT
In October of every year, the men of Camelback step away from the business of life and refocus our minds and hearts through prayer, study of the Bible, and fellowship. We hope to encourage each other towards a deeper knowledge of God and a desire to live out of his intentions for men.

Music at Camelback
Throughout scripture, we see exhortations to sing and make music to the Lord. Music allows us to meditate on God’s word in a way that the spoken word cannot. Through music, we praise and thank God, proclaim truths about God to the world, and teach and admonish one another. At CBC, there are opportunities for all ages to develop and serve the Lord through music while experiencing fellowship with other musicians.
New musicians, both singers and instrumentalists, are always welcome. Participation is open to any adult who regularly attends Camelback Bible Church and is a believing Christian. All individuals who would like to serve or participate in an ensemble should contact the Director of Classical Worship. A musical interview prior to joining an ensemble will help determine where your skills can best fit.
The Camelback Choir: The Camelback Choir, the sanctuary choir of Camelback Bible Church, is an all-volunteer choir comprised of members of the CBC congregation and occasional guests. As a regular part of the weekly worship service, the choir supports the church in reflecting upon God's beauty and majesty in CBC's resonant space. Annual services featuring the choir include Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve and the Service of Darkness on Good Friday. The choir regularly presents more significant choral works that combine artistry with theological integrity. Notable works include Handel's Messiah, Thompson's The Peaceable Kingdom, Brahms’ Requiem, Rutter's Gloria and Requiem, Bach's Chorales, and many others. Most recently, the choir commissioned world-renowned composer Alexander L’Estrange to write an anthem based on the text of Psalm 95. The choir has participated in community events such as the Arizona Bach Festival and the Arizona chapter of ACDA.
Contemporary Worship Team: Our 11 am service is led by a skilled worship band. Positions include drums, bass, rhythm and lead guitar, keys, piano, lead vocals, backing vocals, and FOH audio and video. New musicians are always welcome to join following a skills assessment.
Camelback Bells: The adult bell choir of Camelback Bible Church is an all-volunteer bell choir comprised of members of the CBC congregation. Many of its members began ringing bells in the children’s music program at CBC during elementary school. In addition to being a part of worship services, the Camelback Bells have performed at Desert Botanical Gardens and at numerous community events. This ensemble participates in occasional Sunday services and is a highlight of Advent and Holy Week services.
Children's Music: We currently offer both vocal and handbell choirs to children in grades 4 through 8. Through these choirs, students sing God’s word, learn how to read music and work as a team. The choirs contribute musical offerings several times a year during the Classical Worship Service and, on occasion, during the Contemporary Service. Additionally, this group takes a bi-annual ministry trip to California to offer their musical gifts to churches and camps. Families do not need to attend Camelback Bible Church to participate. Parents are welcome to help in a variety of ways!

Community Groups
Jesus had his public ministry to the masses, but he also had a private ministry to the few. In his “small group” he taught his learners, corrected their misunderstandings, modeled and equipped them for service, raised up future church leaders, taught them about prayer, even was involved
in member care-all of which was made possible by the smaller context. At Camelback we value our corporate worship as we gather for the proclamation of the word, for robust expressions of prayer and praise, and for the celebration of the ordinances. These are important expression of our life together. But we also believe in the necessity of those smaller (community) group times which are indispensable for every person.
Groups provide opportunities to fellowship with one another, study God’s Word, minister to each other, support each other through prayer
and encouragement, and reach out to the neighborhood. The homes that groups meet in are located around the Valley, including:
Arcadia, Scottsdale, North Phoenix, East Phoenix, Central Corridor Community groups come in all different shapes and sizes including gender specific, intergenerational and life stages
(married, high school, college, and young adults).
