Music Ministry

Music is an extraordinary gift from God! It encourages our hearts to worship him. It communicates to our minds his greatness and majesty. Through music, we praise and thank God, proclaim truths about God to the world, and teach and admonish one another. There are many opportunities for all ages to serve the Lord with your musical talents while experiencing fellowship with other musicians. Whether you play an instrument or just love to sing, find out more about the music groups and find one you can join!
New musicians are always welcome. Membership is open to any adult who regularly attends Camelback Bible Church and is a believing Christian. All individuals who would like to participate must meet with the Pastor of Music and Worship and do a musical interview prior to joining an ensemble. If you can sing and would like to serve our church in leading worship, please consider joining!

Sanctuary Choir

The choir is a microcosm of the body and seeks to study the Word through music, develop the musical gifts of every member, and build community within the ensemble. The choir sings weekly in the Classical Worship Service and leads the worship services at the Festival of Lessons & Carols (Christmas Eve) and the Service of Darkness (Good Friday). The choir also leads numerous special performances and outreach events throughout the year.
Handbells

The Handbell Ensemble meets on a semi-regular basis and participates in the Classical Worship Service. This ensemble participates in several Sunday classical worship services as well as several of our special holiday themed services throughout the year.


Contemporary Worship Team

If you sing or play an instrument, there are many opportunities to serve. This team  is made up of vocalists, guitarists, drummers, bass players, keyboardists, and pianists.   The team serves primarily for  the Contemporary Service that meets in the Family Life Center at 11am.

Audio / Video / Lighting 

We have excellent and modern technical equipment at CBC!  If you'd like to serve on the AVL team, please click the link below and someone will reach out to you soon!  
Children's Music

We offer both vocal and Handbell choirs to all children grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Through these choirs children will learn about God’s word through music and worship, how to read music, and how to work as a team. The choirs contribute musical offerings several times a year during the Classical Worship Service. Parents do not need to be attenders of Camelback Bible Church in order for their children to join. Parents are also welcome to help out in a variety of ways!
